The Arabesque mother is already in my collection for quite a while. This year I hoped to prove her out (she was a possible het. albino). Unfortunately not het. albino. There was a nice albino male involved, so all babies are now definately het. for albino.

This year I used two unrelated boa's, both from different Leopard "lines". Most of the time Leopards are referred to as Winner line, Staas line, Danish line etc.. I always found it too much of a coincidence for 3 to 4 different lines all popping up around the same time and in the same region. Crossing the two lines resulted today in a big pile of very healthy boas and 1 slug. No stillborns. I am very happy with the result. Hopefully one more healthy litter on the way. |
